Oil Painting for Beginners and Intermediate (10:00 - 17:00), 2800 CZK

During our Oil Painting workshop, each of the participants will learn about the main instruments and tools used in oil painting. 
Within this workshop you will try different painting techniques such as alla prima, alla impala or translucent glazing. Different types of paint coating and various tools will be explained as well. You’ll get accustomed to using brushes, palette knives, sponges, etc. and you will learn how to mix paints with different fillers and mediums. By the end of the workshop you will be familiar with different techniques, pigments and the basics of color mixing theory.

We recommend bringing a painting or a picture printed out on a A4 paper format that you can use as an inspiration.
The secret is that if you are painting something that you already really like, you will enjoy it more and you’ll be successful in the process. It could be a countryside, a portrait, a copy of a famous painting, a photo from a holiday or an old family picture etc.
